EACC recovered Sh3.7 billion in stolen assets and disrupted planned theft of over Sh40 billion in public funds last financial year. Speaking in Mombasa County during the EACC engagement forum, EACC Director of Preventive Services Vincent Okongo said the commission had strengthened preventive measures by examining public institutions and addressing corruption vulnerabilities. He said more than Sh30 billion had been recovered over the past 10 years.
