President William Ruto has directed that over 107,000 Community Health Providers be incorporated into the Social Health Authority plan by Monday, with their stipend plan to be reviewed by December. Addressing CHPs at the Health Summit in KICC, Nairobi, Ruto said they will receive a text message from the ministry of health confirming their transition. Additionally, President Ruto directed that the SHIF plan also cover beneficiaries' family members to ensure a more holistic healthcare experience.
