Government has warned against violence, intimidation and arbitrary arrests targeting journalists ahead of the 2027 polls. Speaking during the MCK strategic plan launch in Nakuru, communication CS William Kabogo highlighted the unfair burden of online abuse faced by female journalists, noting that regulatory bodies are actively tackling technology-facilitated gender-based violence.
