The Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) has claimed that its convoy came under attack in Kaptembwa, Nakuru Town West, during a tour led by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

In videos shared by the party, DCP alleged that "goons" targeted the convoy in the incident.

The party further claimed that Gachagua "survives an assassination attempt after narrowly escaping a bullet by goons in Kaptembwa, Nakuru Town West."
