The Kenya Association of Manufacturers has called for the manufacturing sector to be central to Vision 2060, saying industrialisation will create jobs, boost government revenue and drive long-term economic growth. KAM Vice Chairperson Mary-Ann Musangi said the private sector must play a meaningful role in shaping the blueprint. She said KAM aims to position Kenya as the leading manufacturing nation in sub-Saharan Africa.
