Kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy has clarified comments he previously made about having a boxing match with his ex-partner, Pritty Vishy.
Speaking during an interview on the Mic Cheque Podcast, Stevo was asked about remarks he made during an earlier interview with Oga Obinna, where he said he wanted to box Vishy.
The hosts asked him, “Kwa Obinna ulisema unataka kubox Pritty Vishy?” — meaning, “On Obinna’s show, you said you wanted to box Pritty Vishy?”
Stevo admitted that he had made the statement but said he did not mean it literally.

“I said it, but I did not mean it.”
When asked whether he would agree if Vishy wanted to confront him, Stevo said he would, while adding that he did not believe she could beat him.
“If she wants us to fight, I can, because she cannot defeat a dragon.”
Stevo explains why they are at odds.
The conversation then turned to the reason behind the disagreement between the former couple.
Stevo was asked why they were fighting and whether another person could get involved in their dispute.
He explained that their disagreement had become a public issue and suggested that someone could interfere in their feud.
The musician was also asked whether there had ever been genuine love between him and Vishy.
“There was no love there. Pritty wanted fame.”
Stevo did not provide further details about the claim during the interview.
Stevo previously challenged Pritty Vishy.
Stevo’s comments on Mic Cheque Podcast come nearly two months after he publicly challenged Vishy to a boxing match.
In a June 16, 2026 report, Mpasho reported that Stevo had requested a boxing match with his ex-partner as a way of settling their long-running public feud.
The report placed the challenge within the wider history of disagreements between the two, whose relationship and subsequent fallout have repeatedly attracted public attention.
The latest podcast interview therefore revisited an issue Stevo had already raised publicly.
Would a fight settle their differences?
During the Mic Cheque interview, the hosts questioned whether a physical confrontation would actually resolve the dispute.
One of them expressed surprise at the idea of a man and a woman fighting.
“But now I did not know a man could box a girl. Is that even allowed? I am shocked. It cannot, it cannot be acceptable.”
Stevo was then asked whether he would agree if both parties accepted the confrontation.
“Of course.”
However, when asked whether such a fight would finally end their beef, Stevo rejected the idea.
“No, it will not be solved.”
Asked why they would then fight, he simply responded:
“I do not like many things.”
The exchange leaves the dispute between the former couple unresolved, with Stevo making it clear that, in his view, a physical confrontation would not bring an end to their differences.
