Njuri Ncheke has announced a 13-member Transition Authority led by outgoing Chairman Linus Kathera and incoming Chairman Andriano Aruyaru to ensure a peaceful transfer of power within 18 months. Speaking at Nchiru in Meru County led by former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, the council reaffirmed that it remains the supreme, indivisible government of the Ameru people, prioritizing unity and continued support for national and county governments.
