Njuri Ncheke elders have declared that the Ameru community will protect the Deputy Presidency held by Kithure Kindiki. Speaking at Nchiru in Meru County, led by former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, the council emphasized that the mountain remains indivisible and called on regional allies to support Kindiki and President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 general elections.
