DPP has secured a combined 115-year prison sentence against Ibrahim Hussein Hassan after the Kahawa Law Courts convicted him on seven terrorism-related counts. Arrested in Eastleigh in September 2022, Hassan was found to be an Al-Shabaab member possessing extremist propaganda and data collection materials. Principal Magistrate Gideon Kiage ordered the sentences to run concurrently and mandated a deradicalisation programme.
