The government is rolling out a centralized digital system to monitor the use of official vehicles, including fuel consumption, mileage, authorized drivers, and maintenance history. Head of Public Service Felix Koskei said the Government Vehicle Management System will provide real-time oversight of the public fleet and strengthen accountability. He said the system will help curb misuse of registration plates, improve fuel and mileage records, and ensure proper tracking of vehicles acquired through donor-funded projects.
