Female private security officers in the country have urged the government to strengthen female representation within the Private Security Regulatory Authority and establish confidential mechanisms to address workplace harassment. Speaking at State House led by Elizabeth Samba, the group also called for gender-balanced recruitment, improved working conditions and the formal recognition of the Women in Security Excellence association as a key industry stakeholder.
