Prophet Victor Kanyarihas once again sparked conversation online after sharing a light-hearted exchange with Marion Naipei during a church service.
In a video posted on his Instagram page, the preacher was speaking about unmarried women in his congregation when he noted that many were still searching for partners despite being of different ages.
According to Kanyari, his church has young women as well as older women who are hoping to find suitable spouses.
“I have young ladies who are 20 years old and are single and searching. I also have women who are 50 years old who are still single and searching,” Kanyari told the congregation.

His remarks prompted laughter from members of the church before he turned his attention to a woman identified as Marion, who was seated close to him.
Marion’s unexpected response
As Kanyari continued speaking, he mentioned Marion, suggesting that she had indicated she was open to marrying regardless of a man’s age.
Marion quickly responded in a playful manner, drawing even louder laughter from those in attendance.
“Even if he is 90 years old, I’m fine with that,” Marion said.
She went on to explain that her priority was finding stability rather than continuing to struggle alone.
“I don’t want to suffer anymore. Do you see why I sit close to you? I don’t want to suffer. I have one child,” she added.
The congregation reacted with laughter as Kanyari smiled at her remarks, with the moment ending on a humorous note.

Gospel singer Guardian Angel and his wife Esther Musila are among the country’s best-known couples with a significant age difference, with Musila being around 20 years older than the singer. The couple have previously said they have not allowed public criticism to affect their marriage.
