A light-hearted moment between Citizen TV news anchors Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla has gone viral after a mysterious message sent by a viewer left the pair laughing during the station's 7 pm news bulletin.
The clip, which was later shared on X by the account Kingpin of Kenya with the caption "Rashid alijam walai", quickly attracted thousands of views and comments from Kenyans amused by the couple's on-air chemistry.
During the live broadcast, Lulu received a message from a viewer while reading audience feedback. However, instead of reading it aloud, she paused, smiled and declined to reveal its contents.
Rashid repeatedly encouraged her to share the message with viewers, but Lulu politely refused, creating an awkward yet humorous moment on set.
