Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has emphasized that African infrastructure projects must actively involve local populations to secure vital social licenses and prevent costly delays. Addressing delegates at the Infra for Africa Forum in Dar es Salaam Tanzania, Kindiki noted that carrying citizens along through transparent benefit-sharing ensures project sustainability, reduces litigation and bridges the gap between state developments and community needs.
