Islamic leaders have praised President William Ruto’s administration for implementing reforms they say have restored dignity to communities that were previously subjected to discrimination. Led by Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, the leaders commended the bold move by the current government for scrapping the once mandatory ID vetting process, facilitating the chartering of two Islamic universities, and addressing historical inequalities that had long affected Muslim communities.
