A man posing as a police officer has been arrested at Yaya Centre in Kilimani after detectives responded to a distress call at a casino. The suspect, Philemon Kiplangat Chepkwony, was found inside a black vehicle with a pistol, an empty 9mm magazine, handcuffs, a fake police Certificate of Appointment, and a fake firearm certificate. A subsequent search of his house in Dagoretti North recovered 100 rounds of 9mm ammunition. He remains in custody pending arraignment as investigations continue.
