Kenyan TikToker and pianist Jesse Pianist has died after a long battle with cancer, leaving family, friends and the online community mourning his passing.

The creator died on Friday, August 1, according to fellow content creator Abdul, who shared the news in an emotional video posted on social media. Abdul disclosed that Jesse's body was being transferred to a hospital in Nairobi as preparations began following his death.
The announcement quickly spread across TikTok, Facebook and Instagram, where thousands of Kenyans expressed shock and sadness while remembering Jesse's resilience during his illness.
"Our brother and our friend Jesse has just passed on, and may his soul rest in peace. Keep praying for the family and those who can reach them, go. Jesse fought a good fight, but he has left us," Abdul said, urging those close enough to make their way to console the grieving family.
