Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has warned politicians against using goons during public meetings and political rallies, saying the government will not tolerate goonism. Speaking in Embu, Murkomen said the government would not allow leaders to exploit young people as shields for political gain. He also praised the police for maintaining order at public gatherings, noting that their efforts had helped prevent incidents of goonism across the country over the past two weeks.
