The Council of Governors plans to move to court to have the ongoing nurses’ strike declared illegal. COG Health Committee Chair Abdulswamad Nassir says key demands, including CBA talks and career progression guidelines, are already being addressed, and that some of the demands are unjustified. Then he adds that while nurses have a right to strike, patients’ welfare must also be protected.
