The removal of Senator Edwin Sifuna from the Senate Public Accounts Committee has been described as politically counterproductive. Political analyst Herman Manyora says the move could make Sifuna more popular, adding that a similar mistake by former President Uhuru Kenyatta against President William Ruto strengthened Ruto’s political standing.
