Mombasa governor Abdulswamad Nassir has dismissed reports claiming that President William Ruto had transferred the intergovernmental relations coordination role from Kindiki to Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi. Addressing claims that Mudavadi had taken over the devolution coordination role, Nassir clarified that the Deputy President remains the chairperson of the Intergovernmental Budget and Economic Council, while Mudavadi only answers parliamentary questions.
