EACC has arrested three suspects linked to the embezzlement of Sh4.8 million allocated for electricity transformers in Igembe North. According to the commission, the funds, meant for six project sites during the 2014/2015 financial year, were withdrawn in a single day without any installation taking place. The suspects face multiple charges, including abuse of office and conspiracy to commit corruption.
