The Council of Governors will meet on August 6 to deliberate on among others, measures to roll out free cancer screening across all 47 counties. CoG Health Committee Chair Abdulswamad Nassir says the plan aims to decentralize oncology services and curb late-stage diagnoses that hinder effective treatment. The meeting will also address challenges surrounding drug procurement through KEMSA.
