Club host Ciggie Johnson has elaborated on why he believes he could never marry a woman who drinks alcohol, saying his views are based on what he has witnessed over the years rather than personal experience.
Speaking during an interview with Bessy Blessing, Ciggie said he associates alcohol with poor decision-making, unhealthy social circles and infidelity, adding that these are qualities he would rather avoid in a life partner.
His latest remarks build on comments he made days earlier, when he revealed that marriage, long-distance relationships, women who drink alcohol and party frequently, as well as taking cold showers, are among the things he fears most in life.

During the interview, Bessy Blessing reminded him that he had previously said he did not like long-distance relationships or dating women who consume alcohol.
Explaining his stance, Ciggie said his concern is not only the alcohol itself but also the influence of the people someone keeps around them.
“Their misbehaviour is too much. Even when somebody has good morals, they end up being influenced, first by alcohol and secondly by their friends.”
He added that even someone who drinks occasionally could find themselves making choices they later regret because of peer pressure.
“You may find she drinks only a little, but her friends drink heavily. She could end up doing things that she later regrets.”
“I have seen many incidents”
Asked whether he had personally gone through an experience that shaped his opinion,Ciggiesaid he had simply observed many similar situations over time.
According to him, many of the incidents he has witnessed involved married people and nightlife.
“I have seen many incidents. A married woman should stay very far away from clubs. Cheating is too common where alcohol is involved.”
Although he did not cite specific examples, he maintained that those observations have influenced the standards he has set for a future spouse.
