Conservation experts are warning that the loss of wetlands and other critical habitats is putting migratory birds at greater risk across the world. BirdLife International says its upcoming State of the World's Birds Report, to be launched in Nairobi in September, will assess the health of migratory bird populations and identify the biggest threats facing species that travel between Africa, Europe and Asia. The report is expected to guide global conservation efforts and policy decisions.
