British American Tobacco Kenya has reported a two percent rise in half-year pre-tax profit to 4.4 billion shillings, driven by stronger export sales and growth in nicotine pouch products. The company says illicit cigarette trade and weak consumer spending continue to weigh on the domestic market, even as it declared an interim dividend of 10 shillings per share.
