Seven students from St. Patrick's Iten Boys' National School in Elgeyo Marakwet County have been detained at Iten Police Station after appearing in court over allegations of burning down a school dormitory. Appearing before Chief Magistrate Gladys Adhiambo, the seven were charged with setting fire to a dormitory at the school on Wednesday. The seven students admitted to the charges, and the case is scheduled for mention on Monday next week.
