President William Ruto has reiterated that his administration will no longer entertain goonism or lawlessness under any guise. Speaking at State House while hosting Nairobi County artisans, President assured the nation that political violence and destruction of property will be met with the same ruthless efficiency and security force applied to eliminate terrorists and cattle rustlers.

In a separate meeting, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen downplayed the issue, arguing that it is being blown out of proportion. He  affirmed  the government's commitment to eliminating all criminal and political affiliated goons.
