Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has dismissed former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s claims of having access to sensitive intelligence from officers within the National Intelligence Service.Speaking during the launch of a multi-biometric identification system and the accreditation of the Forensic Management Unit, Murkomen said Gachagua’s alleged access to privileged information was based on hearsay. He said ongoing modernisation of security systems would strengthen the protection and management of sensitive intelligence.
