Kenyan content creatorSheryl Gabriella, has issued a public statement following the circulation of an intimate video linked to her on social media.
The influencer shared the statement on her Instagram Stories, addressing her followers, business partners, colleagues and the public for the first time since the video began making rounds online.
In her statement, Sheryl apologised to those who may have been disappointed by the incident while maintaining that she was not responsible for uploading or distributing the video.

Sheryl said the footage was circulated without her knowledge or permission, describing the incident as a serious violation of her privacy.
“I was not the person who uploaded or distributed the video online. The content was shared without my knowledge or consent, and I have been deeply affected by this violation of my privacy.”
She acknowledged the concern the matter has generated among her supporters and said she understood the disappointment felt by some members of the public.

“First and foremost, I sincerely apologise to anyone who has been affected or disappointed by the circulation of this content.”
Matter under investigation
The content creator further revealed that the issue is now being handled by the relevant authorities.
According to her statement, she is cooperating fully with investigators and will not be discussing the matter publicly while investigations continue.
“The matter is currently under active investigation by the relevant authorities, and I am fully cooperating with the investigative process. Out of respect for those proceedings, I will not comment further on the details at this time.”
She did not disclose which agency is handling the investigation or provide further details about the case.

Sherylconcluded her statement by thanking her family, friends, fans and professional partners for standing by her during what she described as a difficult period.
She said she remains committed to conducting herself professionally and responsibly despite the challenges she is facing.
