The NCCK has cautioned politicians against exploiting unemployed youth for political violence ahead of the 2027 elections. NCCK’s Coast Region Chairperson Bishop Peter Mwero said economic hardship has left many young people vulnerable to manipulation through cash handouts and recruitment into disruptive political activities. He urged youth to reject violence, register as voters and participate peacefully in the democratic process.
