A section of Kiambaa residents has protested against their MP, John Kawanjiku, over his alleged involvement in the violence witnessed during the Ol Kalou by-election. The residents want security agencies to take action against the lawmaker and have threatened to petition the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC to bar him from contesting future political office. The protest came hours after Kawanjiku denied any involvement in the chaos.
