Health workers have begun a nationwide strike, demanding the permanent and pensionable employment of more than 7,000 UHC workers and the implementation of their CBA. Kenya Union of Clinical Officers Chair Peterson Washira says the strike will continue until counties meet their demands. Doctors and nurses are not part of the industrial action.
