Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has announced plans to tour Meru and Embu counties in a bid to unify the Mt Kenya region ahead of next year’s General Election. Speaking at a church service in Kirinyaga, he warned against efforts to divide the region’s vote. Gachagua said his visits will involve engaging residents and leaders to strengthen a common political voice, which he believes is key to unseating President William Ruto.
