The government’s ongoing reforms to ease access to national identification documents are helping eliminate barriers that have long prevented many Kenyans from accessing services, opportunities and democratic participation. Speaking at a burial ceremony in Ugunja, Siaya County, Interior PS Raymond Omollo said President William Ruto has directed that all eligible Kenyans be issued IDs without unnecessary obstacles. He said the ministry is implementing the directive fairly and without discrimination nationwide to ensure inclusive national development.
