Nairobi County Chief Officer for Environment, Geoffrey Mosiria, has called for the arrest of former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya, popularly known as Baha, following the circulation of a controversial video on social media alleged to be his.
In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Mosiria alleged that the video showed Baha naked while appearing to perform what he described as satanic rituals.
He further claimed that the clip closely resembled another viral video previously linked to content creator Sheryl Gabriella.
“The video is a copy-paste of Sheryl Gabriella’s, using the same script, which, in my view, raises concerns that there could be a group using young influencers to recruit more members into a satanic cult.” – Geoffrey Mosiria.

Mosiria said the similarities between the two videos had raised questions that, in his opinion, should be investigated by the relevant authorities.
He also urged law enforcement agencies to take action against the actor, arguing that the video was willingly recorded and shared online.
“I call for the arrest of Baha for willingly recording and sharing such content. His actions have violated the law, and he should face the full force of the law.” – Geoffrey Mosiria.
According to Mosiria, taking action would help safeguard young people who consume content on digital platforms.
He added that authorities have a responsibility to ensure the internet remains a safe space, particularly for children and teenagers who are increasingly active on social media.

The comments come just days afterMosiria publicly called for investigations into content creator Sheryl Gabriella following the circulation of alleged leaked intimate videos online. At the time, he argued that the matter should be investigated if it was established that explicit material had been willingly created and distributed in violation of Kenyan law. He also maintained that the government has a duty to shield children from harmful online content.
Baha has not publicly responded to Mosiria’s latest remarks or the calls for his arrest.
The incident has once again sparked debate over the type of content shared by influencers and public figures online, as well as the responsibility of creators in an era where social media posts can quickly reach millions of users.
