Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen has criticised courts for issuing what he termed as lenient bail terms to suspected gang members and goons, warning that the move undermines security operations. Speaking at the Trans Nzoia County Assembly, Murkomen said such decisions embolden criminals to repeat such offence, as they expect to be released even after repeated arrests.
