The government has launched a National Work-Based Learning Award to recognise employers offering internships, apprenticeships and industrial attachments to young people. Labour PS Shadrack Mwadime says the initiative will encourage more industries to provide practical workplace training, helping equip graduates with job-ready skills while reducing youth unemployment and improving productivity.
