The government has launched a security operation in Malaso Valley, Samburu County, following rising insecurity in the area. Rift Valley Regional Commissioner Abdi Hassan warned that individuals with illegal firearms will face the full force of the law. The move comes after a recent attack in Samburu West that left four people dead, just a day after Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen visited the area.
