The Rastafarian Society of Kenya has vowed to challenge a High Court ruling upholding the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Control Act, which criminalizes the possession, use and cultivation of bhang. Speaking after the ruling, the group's lawyer, Danstan Omari, expressed disagreement with the verdict, insisting on escalating the case to the Court of Appeal in pursuit of the group's constitutional rights and dignity.
