People diagnosed with sexually transmitted infections are being urged to inform their sexual partners to help break the chain of transmission. Clinical Officer Joash Agutu says partner notification should not be viewed with shame or stigma, as it enables exposed partners to seek testing and treatment. He also encouraged patients to complete their medication and follow medical advice to prevent reinfection and further spread of STIs.
