Chief Justice Martha Koome will today preside over the swearing-in of Justice Gatembu Kairu as President of the Court of Appeal. Kairu, who was elected by appellate court judges last month, takes over from Justice Daniel Musinga, whose non-renewable five-year term ended in May. The ceremony will be held at the CJ’s Gardens within the Supreme Court grounds starting at 10am.
