Health experts are calling for comprehensive, age-appropriate sexuality education to help curb the rising burden of sexually transmitted infections. Clinical Officer Joash Agutu of AHF Kenya Mathare Medical and Wellness Centre says sexual and reproductive health education should begin early and involve schools, parents and community health promoters. He says equipping young people with accurate information is key to preventing infections and encouraging timely health-seeking behaviour.
