The united opposition has urged police officers overseeing the Ol Kalou by-election to act impartially and protect citizens without fear or political bias. Led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the leaders called on security agencies to prevent violence, investigate all criminal acts, and hold perpetrators accountable. Musyoka also appealed for restraint from all sides, condemning what he described as state-sponsored political violence.
