The Government has assured Kenyans that petroleum supply remains stable despite rising tensions in the Middle East that have disrupted global oil markets. Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi said attacks on vessels near the Strait of Hormuz have reduced oil tanker traffic and increased price volatility, but Kenya’s fuel availability remains unaffected. He attributed the stability to the Government-to-Government fuel supply arrangement.
