The Kenya Tourism Board has praised conservation efforts at Lake Ol' Bolossat, saying they are essential for sustainable tourism. KTB CEO June Chepkemei commended the county government of Nyandarua, local communities and wildlife agencies for restoring the lake and relocating hippos, adding that the board plans to develop a national cultural festival calendar to attract more visitors.
