Public interest activist Francis Awino has petitioned the IEBC to postpone the Thursday Ol Kalou by-election over rising concerns. The petition seeks a suspension of the vote to investigate allegations of political violence, voter bribery and intimidation. In his petition, Awino also raised alarm over the involvement of Cabinet Secretaries in campaigns, arguing that the compromised environment threatens a free and fair electoral process.
