Content creator Sheryl Gabriella has responded after Nairobi County Chief Environment Officer Geoffrey Mosiria said he would ask security and cybercrime authorities to investigate matters relating to content allegedly circulating online.

Mosiria had earlier said he intended to formally raise the matter with the relevant agencies, urging them to determine whether any laws had been broken and to take action where appropriate.

Neither Gabriella nor Mosiria has publicly indicated that they have been in direct communication beyond their respective social media posts.
At the time of publication, there had been no public confirmation from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) or the National Police Service that any investigation or legal action had been initiated in connection with Mosiria's request.
"The relevant authorities should establish the facts through the legal process," Mosiria had said in his earlier statement.
