The Election Observation Group (ELOG) has called on all stakeholders to uphold the rule of law and protect electoral integrity in the upcoming Ol Kalou by-election. In a statement, the organization warned that voter bribery, misuse of public resources, and intimidation are criminal offences that threaten democracy and public trust. ELOG insisted that elections must remain transparent and peaceful, urging a firm rejection of all electoral malpractice.
