Elgeyo Marakwet senator William Kisang has defended Speakers Moses Wetangula and Amason Kingi over accusations of being involved in active political campaigns. Speaking in the county, Senator Kisang noted that the two are voted in by MPs of the majority party to help the executive implement its development agenda. His remarks come a day after the High Court barred the two from using the influence of their constitutional offices in partisan political campaigns.
